(Association “Friends of the painter Jean-Pierre Couprie")

This association aims to promote Jean-Pierre Couprie’s work, artist who was born on 12th August 1941 in Angoulême (Charente) and died on 30th March 2009 in Cateau-Cambrésis (North of France).

Either on its own or with the support of external partners, the association has been developing all activities liable to help develop its objectives like :

- cataloguing the works of the painter ;
- supporting or ordering written or broadcast publications about the artist ;
- managing an internet website ;
- creating and hosting events such as exhibitions, colloquiums, competitions, etc. ;
- collecting, under the control of a notary, works, objects and documents from the artist in order to create a museum.
